Vancouver housing starts down 70%

The Vancouver Sun reported today that Vancouver housing starts for the month of February were down 70%. The reason, acording to Richard Sam, a CMHC market analyst, "the supply of both resale houses and new unsold houses remains high compared to demand. Until that supply gets absorbed, housing starts are likely to be slow."
