Feb. 1, 2018 | New Developments | By Aaron Rossetti

{Update}

District council approved a new bylaw allowing subdivisions of Upper Capilano lots! The new policy allows for 59 new lots to be created. Owners of these lots will no longer need further council approval for a subdivsion. Where? Cliffridge Avenue and Belvedere Drive and including portions of Prospect and Clements avenues, as well as Canyon and Montroyal boulevards.

Do you live in Canyon Heights and own a 66' lot? Pretty soon you may be able to subdivide!

District Council voted this week to begin the process of allowing 'small lot infill areas'.

Where:
- The north side of Montroyal Boulevard between Cliffridge Avenue and Ranger Avenue
- Canyon Boulevard
- Clements Avenue between Ranger and Belvedere Drive
- Potentially the 1000 block of Prospect Avenue

Don't submit an application just yet though. The District first needs to draft an amended zoning bylaw, solicit neighbourhood feedback, and get final council approval.
