The historic Kew House in West Vancouver is for sale. Why is it historic? The previous owners had their hands in the shapping of West Vancouver. 

The most notable owner was A.J. Taylor.  How important a role did he play? Taylor Way was named after him. Mr. Taylor who was responsible for the construction of the Lion’s Gate Bridge, Vancouver’s Marine Building and the development of the British Properties. 

Another previous owner was Kay Meek, for whom West Vancouver’s Kay Meek Theatre is named.

The heritage house is pretty great too. Built in 1937 and located at 5324 Marine Drive, the 6,600 square foot home is set on a 1.66 acre lot with panoramic ocean views. Features of the home include boasts wonderful millwork, beamed ceilings, cove and base mouldings, antique light fixtures and chandeliers, Spanish tile, herringbone hardwood flooring.
