Sold /// 334 E 9th Street

June 2, 2020 | Our Sales | By The Rossettis

We just sold another North Vancouver heritage home! 334 East 9th Street, Central Lonsdale - The Stewart Residence. Designed and build in 1924 by local contractor Frederick John King for the home's first residence Angus Stewart. The home is noted for its 'low-pitched front-gabled roofs, triangular eave brackets and tapered porch piers demonstrated the persistent popularity of the Craftsman style after the end of World War One.'

Fun fact, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin later owned this residence; he was the principal of Ridgeway School for many years.
