Sold listings on REALTOR.ca
Starting this week, REALTOR.ca has begun rolling out updates to provide more transparent information about listing statuses and selling prices for homes listed and sold on the MLS®.
These changes include:
- Pending and Closed statuses are now visible
- Sold listings are now searchable
- Sold listings will include both closed and pending sales
- Sale prices will be displayed 30 days after the closing date
From the Greater Vancouver REALTORS®:
“This change reflects a growing demand for transparency in real estate. Up to 72 per cent of buyers say transparency is a key part of their decision-making process. GVR is proud to be just the third, and largest, real estate board in Canada to make this move.
This is more than a system update — it’s a shift that empowers clients and elevates Realtors as the most trusted voices in the marketplace.”
