Tempe, North Vancouver
Tempe is the city of North Vancouver's newest subdivision. This flat neighbourhood is great for families, with quiet streets, cul-de-sacs, and offering a short walk to Boundary Elementary and recently rebuilt Sutherland Secondary School.
Great location for easy access to Highway 1 for commute to downtown. Equal distance between Lonsdale and Lynn Valley for shopping and services. Includes a small neighbourhood park with children's activity centre and tennis courts.
Tempe was originally frowned upon by many due to clear cutting, but it is now 20 years later and a well received neighbourhood (with plenty of mature landscaping). Homes in general are a generous size with traditional plans on somewhat more modest sized lots.
