Superintendent of Real Estate Proposes Rule Changes

The Office of the Superintendent of Real Estate has proposed changes and is requesting feedback on rules governing the conduct of licensees providing real estate services in British Columbia.

Key rule changes include:

- prohibiting the practice of dual agency, except in remote and under-served locations, and

- increasing mandatory licensee disclosures regarding representation and remuneration in order to enhance consumer education and awareness.
