A total of 22 new apartment listings to date this week across North Vancouver, keeping the total inventory practically unchanged from the week prior at 159 units (before reported sales).  This balanced inventory of apartments certainly shows signs of a more stable market for attached properties in North Vancouver.  To date, there have been 57 reported sales of apartments averaging 17.6 days on market - though this number is heavily skewed by five sales at the bottom end.  Ignoring those bottom five sales, average days on market was only 10.7 days.  There's definitely still a strong market for attractively priced condos in North Vancouver supported by a steady stream of inventory.

Staying in Lower Lonsdale this week, we're looking at a beautiful loft listed in the rarely available red bricked Aberdeen building at 88 Lonsdale Avenue.  Marketed as a two bedroom and den, this bright, open loft space is being offered at $998,800.  This building typically does sell at a premium as it's unique space is hard to come by on the North Shore.  Featuring an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, hardwood flooring, updated bathrooms, and a touch of sophistication with concrete ceilings and exposed wood trusses.  South and west views are currently available via the large west facing windows, though some of these views may be lost when Paragon's Promenade on the Quay is completed.  Keep in mind there is no outdoor space here, but still a quality space for entertaining.  Pets and rentals allowed with restrictions, and steps from all that Lower Lonsdale has to offer.
