Happy Canada Day! Today marks Canada's 150th Birthday! Looking to celebrate?

Check out the planned activities and events on the North Shore:


North Vancouver //

Canada Day Parade /

Starting at 10 a.m. from 13th Street and Grand Boulevard.

The parade proceeds west on 13th Street to Lonsdale Avenue, turning north on Lonsdale. A reviewing stand is set up at 14th Street and Lonsdale. At 17th Street, the parade again heads west and ends at Jones and Mahon Park.

Waterfront Park /

When & What: Festivities take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The North Vancouver Canada Day Celebrations is a free event and includes fun things to see and do for all ages!

Canada 150 Evening Event /

Where, When & What: 6:30-10:30 pm at Waterfront Park. This event will include a free concert in the park, a beer & wine garden featuring Red Truck Brewing and Baillie Grohman Wines, food trucks, and the perfect spot to watch Vancouver's Canada Day fireworks.

Shipyards Market /

Check out this special event market 12-11pm.

While there, hit catch a story-filled walk through the historic Burrard Drydock.1:30 & 3pm @ Lonsdale Ave & Victory Ship Way

John Lawson Park /

Celebrate the 150th birthday of our country by wearing our national colours and joining us at John Lawson Park.

Bring a picnic or choose from a selection of food vendors while enjoying live entertainment throughout the afternoon.

4:45–5:45 p.m. Winsome Kind Band

Horseshoe Bay Park /

7pm-10pm. Join Karen Fowlie and Friends for a special Canada 150 celebrations with a free concert recognizing Canadian Women in Song.

Bring your lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy a musical journey beginning with Joni Mitchell, Anne Murray, Sarah McLachlan as well as tributes to the legendary Leonard Cohen and Canada's treasured, The Tragically Hip.
